Beginner Golf putting tips

Beginner Golf putting tips. Practice beginner putting drills and easy simple putting methods for the novice golfer. Perfect for the beginner or advanced golfer. Learn the right way to putt, putting tips for beginners.

Golf Putting Tip #1. Start practicing with short putts then increase your distance. this is the best way to practice your putting. Start with little tap in putts and then increase the distance of your putts until you are sinking six and 9 foot putts with ease. But always remember go from short putts to long putts in your golf practice.

Golf Putting Tip #2. Practice putting your ball over a 50 cent piece. On this exercise Lay the fifty centy piece coin on the ground. You will notice that it is still a good sized target, however the fifty cent piece is smaller than the cup on the putting green. Start with short tap in putts of six inches or less and practice putting the golf ball over the center of the coin. Slowly increase the distance of your putts back till you are putting from ten to 12 feet.

If you can roll the golf ball over the center of the fifty cent piece from a distance of lets say 6 feet then you can definitely hit an actual putt from the same distance since the coin is a smaller target than the actual golf cup.
You can do the same practice drill with a quarter and a dime if you like . But start out with the fifty cent piece.

Beginner Golf Putting Tip #3.

After you have mastered hitting your putt over a coin. Start putting the coin directly at the lip the cup. Practice putting to the coin and you will notice that the ball goes over the coin and into the cup. Next remove the coin and visualize it in front of the hole when putting. This acts as a great alignment and putting aid. If you can hit the imaginary coin, then you will be sinking birdie and par putts in no time and lower your score as well.
