GOLF PLAY FOR BEGINNERS HOW TO PLAY IN LIGHTNING STORM

Playing golf and you hear thunder. What to do if you hear thunder or see lightning and you are playing a round of golf on the green.

If you are teeing off, putting, in the sand trap or in any way playing golf and you hear thunder or see lightning, immediately stop what you are doing and head indoors. Do not finish the hole or continue playing at all. If your buddy wants to do these things, then leave him to his fate.

Remember golf courses are fairly flat and you are often the tallest thing around for many yards. The metal of the golf clubs will attract the lightning and you could get struck. Don't try to take shelter under a tree and don't wait until the lightning gets closer to stop playing.

At the first sign of lightning, stop play immediately and take shelter indoors!!
While your in the clubhouse pop in a golf instructional video in your portable player. You'll be that much better for the next clear day and the next round of golf.
